It may even seem that others are far more successful than you’ll ever be. However, a mature understanding of creative writing will show that it can be a long, arduous process. As I am only editing a story seriously for the first time, it’s a challenge.<\/p>\n
Currently, I am typing it up after writing it by hand first. I am following Joanna Penn’s simple authoring process so far, planning to do one “big edit,” go over the technical stuff, and then repeat the process with at least one story editor and one proofreader.<\/p>\n
I’m also beginning to see that I don’t need to be so serious about writing. I am created to enjoy doing what I am somewhat good at, which is writing, and have the freedom to create the types of stories fitting to me. They aren’t necessarily grand, classic works, but I even found one chapter to already keep me reading as I was typing it up. No story created by man will ever be perfect, and there’s no need to make a bigger deal than it is.
